The store is always cleaned and pretty well stocked. The cashiers leave a lot to be desired. They are very rude. As much as we spend on food I feel like they should at least acknowledge our presence. A hello, thank you, have a nice day and maybe even verbally tell us how much our order is. The manager is no better. He will open a register and rather take the next person in line, he will motion the last person approaching the line to come. I have seen this occur on several occasions. I wish I had more options that were close to Brushtown.

Food Lion Rocks!!! The staff at the Deli are Wonderful 👍. Robin (my neighbor) works there. She is so Friendly and always asks if I found everything OK. She is my neighbor, but we never see each other at home. I only see her at Food Lion. She is Wonderful 👍. And last, Zachary (MGR), is Outstanding. He has been there for years. Every time I see him he so Friendly and Greets everyone with a Smile 😊. I have been going to Food Lion for 13 years now. I believe Zachary (Zach), has been there as long. He makes Food Lion a Great Place to shop. Everything is so well kept. Wide isles, Friendly Staff, Food is always Fresh. Thank You Food Lion You Rock😊🤗 Mitchell Kaehler

This store is #1 in the area. They are clean, shelves are stocked and the sales are amazing. I absolutely love Food Lion in Hanover/McSherrystown.

I really like this store. I'm from Carlisle and miss the one that closed here. I still get an email with the weekly sales and make the trip once in a while to shop here when visiting Hanover. They are very friendly people, and they have some southern food other stores just don't have.
